I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis when my children were small. I decided way back then that I would not let this condition rule my life and searched for alternative ways to deal with the condition. I have managed to overcome it by simply modifying my diet and lifestyle, even though I was told by my Rheumatologist that I would never be able to do it, I am living proof that it is possible! I questioned the norm and encourage everyone to question their own health options. This is why I run the Natural Life Shop and enjoy doing what I do.

The Natural Life Shop has always been a big part of my life, from doing the weekly shop here, way back when I was a child, to now, managing the day to day running of the store alongside Angie. My parents have always wanted me and my younger brother to have the best and natural upbringing as possible, so having The Natural Life Shop in the same village helped make that possible! I learn something new every day and have the chance to help and make a positive difference to people’s lives, the best thing about our shop are the customers!

I started at the shop when I began to retrain as a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist. Similarly to Angie, I came to the health arena due to my own health issues! It was what prompted me to retrain and I absolutely love seeing the difference our advice and support can make to the health and wellbeing of our customers.
It never ceases to amaze me how the most seemingly trivial changes can reap the most incredible benefits. I also love how collaborative the gang are here! We're always bouncing ideas for customers off each other and everyone has such a different perspective that we always manage to find a way to help no matter how complex the issues!

Having been part of Natural Life since the very beginning I cannot imagine ever being anywhere else. It is really interesting, I’ve gained so much knowledge along the way, and I just never stop learning or questioning things. It really opens your mind. I love the way our shop changes people’s lives for the better. The customers are great and it’s a happy place to be.
